Spring 2022 Return to Campus

The George Washington University will resume in-person classes and activities in support of the university’s academic mission on Tuesday, January 18.  Additionally, university employees should return to their work schedules that were in place prior to the virtual period.

We will continue to limit some in-person activity on our campuses until January 31. We anticipate restoring in-person activities in a phased approach beginning February 1.

Return to Campus and the Classroom

At GW, our objective is clear for this fall: a comprehensive, in-person living and learning experience for our students, faculty and staff. We are offering our students an on-campus experience, including in our classrooms, residence halls, laboratories, libraries and studios.
