Campus Life

All residence halls are open, the university has resumed in-person classes and large venues, such as Lisner Auditorium, will host events.

Food and Drink

GW's open dining plan gives students access to food and groceries from more than 105 dining partners concentrated on our campuses and in our surrounding neighborhoods. Please check the websites listed below for current operating hours.

Residence Halls

The following measures are being implemented to reduce the density of on-campus occupancy of residential students for their health and safety:

  • Students will share a bedroom with, at most, one other student.
  • Each student will share a bathroom with at most three other students.
  • Bunk beds have been removed from all units.

The GW Venues site also provides information on how to book event spaces at the Mount Vernon and Virginia Science and Technology campuses as well as at the Virginia Academic Centers.
