Holiday Closures for GW COVID-19 Testing Centers

September 02, 2021

The GW COVID-19 testing centers at the Foggy Bottom Campus will be closed on Friday and Monday, Sept. 3 and 6, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. The testing center at the Virginia Science and Technology Campus will be closed as scheduled.

The testing centers at Foggy Bottom will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 7, and resume normal operating hours. To accommodate extra appointments, the Foggy Bottom asymptomatic testing center will be open for extended hours on Friday, Sept. 10, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The VSTC testing center will reopen on Thursday, Sept. 9, and resume normal operations. This testing center will offer expanded hours from 6 - 8 p.m. once a month throughout the fall. Please check the Onward site for additional details.

If your scheduled test date falls over the holiday weekend, please make an appointment for Tuesday, Sept. 7. If there is a hold on your GWorld card, it will be lifted within an hour after you take your test.

If you need assistance with making an appointment, please email the GW Public Health Lab at [email protected]. Additional information about GW's public health measures, including COVID-19 testing, is available at onward.gwu.edu.
